For five months Louise Penny kept me company with her brilliant Armand Gamache mysteries and just last week I finished her seventh novel. I'm only a tenth of the way into the book and already I'm hooked. The Hare with Amber Eyes is a biography that reads like a mystery. Don't try reading this before bedtime: it's a compelling read, very hard to put down.
