I am left handed and well aware that I live in a right handed world. I was very interested in your piece about dyeing with walnuts. Is there enough difference in the colour to need to separate the nuts from the hulls. I don't really find walnuts around here but have found a few in other people's gardens.
Hi Debbie, I haven't dyed with the nuts because I'm planning to eat them once they've dried a few weeks and because I've read that on their own they only yield tan, which isn't a colour that I am going for. If you can find enough, you could do small test batches with and without the nut.
